Live each day, as if your dying,
Forget the worries, and release the weight,
Unkind thoughts will dim your day,
And the world holds love, to anticipate.
Make a friend in every place,
And laughter you are sure to find,
Show the world your smily face,
Rest for the body, peace for the mind.
See the sunrise, across the sea,
Reflective jewels, glitter like gold,
Priceless wealth that comes for free,
Riches so rare, for us all to behold.
Then see the autumn mists, come creeping,
Blood red leaves, that fall like rain,
As if the trees are pained, and weeping,
In sadness die, to live again.
We grieve not, for the dying leaves,
They lie underfoot, in autumns track,
As they must go, to come again,
One burst of spring will bring them back!
